Personal memory by Julia Jaakola
2015 • Saginaw, MN, USA
My neighbor's lakeshore, left to his son, then was sold to the DNR for a parking lot and boat landing into Big Grand Lake in Saginaw. He had geese and ducks, martins, and chip monks, rabbits, and other birds and insects and habitat. It is sad to see it gone. I mourn for the loss with the wildlife who will look for this place and sympathize with all that is gone forever. I will plant some trees and let the clover grow, and watch for those who wish to pollute the area.
