Personal memory by E L
2019 • Kissimmee, FL, USA
I have lived in Kissimmee Fl for over 16 years now. When I first moved here I was taken back by how many cows, deer, horses, raccoons, rabbits, and many other animals were a regular sighting. 16 years later the deer are gone, most of the cow fields have disappeared, and only the raccoons and possums seem to remain. The fields and trees have been replaced by apartment complexes and cookie cutter housing. I didn't like all the animals when I first moved here but, now that they are gone, I kind of miss them. I hope we can stop before they are all gone.
