I remember when my family used to live in a forest in Northern New Hampshire, and my family and I would go on a trail, hiking up and down the mountain almost daily. It would be one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. Then they started deforestation, which really brutalized the scenery. A year or so later we stopped hiking.
