Personal memory by Maddy R
2008 • Peanut Island, Florida, USA
When I was little, my family took a day trip to Peanut Island. I remember going snorkeling there and it was so beautiful! The water was clear and there was so much life- fish everywhere, thriving coral, and tiny crabs scuttling around. Recently, my family decided to go there again. I was so excited to see the fish. When I got there, however, there was only a few tiny fish to be seen and the water was so murky that I could barely see them anyway. I guess years of hosting wave after wave of tourists will do that to any of Earth's natural beauties...
