Personal memory by Veronique Pittman
I remember line and bait (sardines) fishing with my grandparents in the 70's off their small boat in Marbella Spain and how we used to bring in an average of 15-20 fish every morning (to eat raw as ceviche or cooked every which way). Now there is nothing because the local fishermen dynamited all the rocky areas that formed their habitat. Sad and pervasive example of long term loss for short term gain.
