From what I've witnessed, the asian carps have grown in number by Lake Michigan. It started with little news reports which escalated to today, where people are trying to place roadblocks between the Illionois River and Lake Michigan, which raises the question of how much it'll cost to keep the invasive species out of the Lake waters.
