Personal memory by Mackenzie GHibaudi
2008 • Fire Island, NY, USA
Living on Long Island, my family and I went to the beach every single weekend. We'd go during the week for a drive and I would play in the sands, I used to see a lot of horseshoe crabs, normal crabs, shells, and wildlife, but over time it has truly diminished. I see a lot more animals that have passed than I do live ones. At Fire Island, I went with a friend and we came across numerous foxes that were discolored from malnourishment and extremely thin.
