Personal memory by Qian

Before I entered middle school, I spent most of my summer vacation at my grandparent's home in the countryside. There were many tadpoles and little fish in creeks with clear water. On Summer nights, my grandpa took me to catch fireflies in the bushes next to the creeks, and the frog's sound from the creeks is a part of my childhood memory. But it's heartbroken that when I went back to the village when I entered high school, the creeks all dried up, and there were only some very old people over 70 still living there because the youngsters all poured into cities for higher income. The night of the village is dark and cheerless.
