Personal memory by Rebekah Hix

While in school I volunteered to go out and help this park clean up the invasive plant life that was killing the ecosystem. When I was out there I noticed there were a couple of chickens kept in simple cages just outside. They had no protection from the weather or anything. So I asked the people working there what they were doing out here? The people answered that the chickens only purpose was to stay out near the plants and see if they would get sick.
