Personal memory by Bill Anderson
When growing up in Savannah, Ga as a kid, there was a very large population of toad frogs. After a rain, they would be everywhere; yards, fields, woods, & streets. Out in the wooded wetlands you would find vast numbers of mating adult toads and all small ponds of water held millions of their eggs. Today, you would be hard pressed to find but only a few. There might some spotty areas of fair population, but as I remember, they were literally everywhere.
