Personal memory by Carlos Velez

I remember as a child going to the Sequoia National Park and witnessing the grand stature of the Sequoia. They stood high and mighty. Just recently I went back and visited the National Park and was astonished at the current sight of the forest. Many of the trees have been cut down due to deforestation, in a way, it also felt like a part of my childhood was taken down.
