Personal memory by Taylor Triplett

One of my fondest memories as a child was roaming around in the woods behind the house. Just me and friends, around 7 years old, running around with no purpose and having the time of our lives. While the property wasn't very big, it felt like a forrest to us. We would stay out until dark, day after day, using our imagination and so many ways. As I grew a bit older and moved to a city, I often thought about those days and realized that, due to city develpopment, most kids would never have a chance to experience anything like that. As time has passed, so has that patch of woods, as it has been taken over by buildings and I often miss the simplicity of those days spent there.
