Personal memory by Uri B
2003 • New Jersey, USA
When i was younger (probably about 7 or 8 years old) my favorite insect in the world was the preying mantis. if you spent a lot of time playing outside (which i did) you could find them anywhere! from New Jersey all the way to california the preying mantis was anywhere you looked and it was the most incredible, most phenomenal looking creature too. As I got older they just disappeared...turns out they're pretty much almost completely extinct from this world. What's missing is us as humans have forgotten what's truly important, we value all the wrong things and it changes our universe for the worse. Life itself is forgotten about when were too busy minding what benefits US. It's truly sad.
