Personal memory by Amy Curtis

I have lived in the same small town in Texas for my entire life. During my time there I have witnessed many environmental changes. Because of the immense amount of droughts that we would go through, the grass got a lot less green, and animals started to disappear. It didn't help that many new formations were being built over beautiful life full fields that were previously owned by farms. I would always see cows and horses on the sides of the roads as I drove to school every day, but that has since disappeared and turned into buildings surrounded by dead grass.
