Personal memory by Peter Perez
2008 • Vieques, Puerto Rico
In my home of Puerto Rico, In Mosquito Bay, Vieques, is a body of water where you may submerge yourself and swim, and see bioluminescent plankton (Noctiluca scintillans) swimming all around you. It is a magical spectacle as the plankton shine bright in the water and create a light show to behold, both in and out of the water.
