In elementary school, I remember walking home when my friend and I, came across a turtle in our neighborhood in the street. The turtle was about the size of a bowling ball, and was just lying in the street chilling, not a care in the world. We knew we had to get him out of the street; I volunteered to pick him up, and picked him up from the back so he couldn't reach around and bite me. We knew he probably came from the lake in our neighborhood. I carried him all the way there, a good 30 minute walk, and we released him by the water where he immediately shot off into the lake.
