I went to the Smoky Mountains National Park in April of 2019 and they are still recovering from the damage caused by devastating forest fire that killed and injured many people. Although, a lot of the mountain is starting to recover, the scars of the blaze are still there. Parts of the mountain are still completely charred and black. Thankfully, with time, it will begin to look normal again. Although the Smoky Mountains are a very large mountain range, the impact is still severe. I look forward to the day when I can revisit the Smoky Mountains and it'll be just as prosperous as ever.
