Personal memory by Devon

There is a huge plot of land, at least a few hundred acres, that stretches on one of the main roads from Pinellas county to Hillsborough county in Tampa. Someone had owned that land for quite some time before neighboring land owners began selling their land to big companies, such as Walmart and Target. They decided they wanted to build a big mall there, and big name companies started building in the land all around it; Dunkin Donuts, Walgreens, Target, Fridays, you name it. Well, the owner of this land didn't have enough money to complete the feat alone, so he sold the land to a buyer who promised to help with the mall. When the transaction was finally finished, the new owner cancelled all plans and made the WHOLE ENTIRE PLOT into a state nature preserve. Most of the neighboring restaurants and stores have gone out of business. Nature: 1 Humans: 0! Just a couple years ago, however, a lot of the natural land was burned in a wild fire, during an especially dry heat. The land is on the road to recovery, but many animals lost their homes there.
