Personal memory by Jesse Rogers

Philadelphia has been given the name for being one of the most toxic places in the U.S for air and water pollution. I know this to be somewhat true because when you drive on 95 Highway you smell a horrible odor and over time Philly has made some changes with things like recycling more and so on. Here is how I saw a change on my block I grew up on. I grew up on Tackawnna street during the summer. All the children would hang out and play sports, eat junk food from the corner store. When you look outside you can see bottles, wrappers pretty much anything that should be in a trash can. I remember when that all changed when the elders around came and knocked on everyone's door. The block isn't the cleanest but many people now recycle more. Also just looking out because we have cats who just run the street's just making it a better place.
