We used to see (and hear) a lot of parrots - the rose-ringed parakeets. Now, not so much at all. As children we often stood out on our balconies and spent hours playing 'spot the parrots' - which was hard to do, with their perfect parrot green camouflage in the large deciduous trees in our colony.
