Personal memory by Julianna DeSimone
2012 • Silver Springs, FL, USA
There was this one time when I noticed a man trying to harm an alligator in the Silver Springs river. Everyone including me were kayaking and this guy went about trying to protect his family in the wrong way. It is wrong for people to assume these animals mean harm when they are just living their life, minding their own business. Humans are the ones invading their home and we have to be conscientious about how we approach them.
