Growing up in the 70's/80's, riverfronts meant manufacturing. I didn't realize it was only the very end of tolerance. It took decades but waterfronts of the city and up the Hudson were regifted to the people. We still have tons of work to do by the majestic Hudson but it will be for the people again.
