Personal memory by Armona

Back in early 2000's I remember spending my mornings outside surrounded by hundreds of caterpillars and spotting three to four Cardinals or blue jays on a hunt. At night it felt like there were millions of fireflies. I've always had a huge love for insects and specifically remember seeing at least 50 different species in my own back yard daily. But its 2017 now and my hometown doesn't have nearly as much of the wild life as it did just 17 years ago. I'd be lucky to see just one Blue Jay or Chilocorus.
