Personal memory by Stephanie V.
1970 CE - 1980 CE • Rye, NY
Horseshoe crabs used to cover the small candy beaches in the coves along the Westchester County shoreline of the Long Island, NY sound during their mating season. They are gone. Only we old-timers remember. The beaches and docks were covered in mussel and oyster and clam shells.
