Personal memory by KBreJai Pinkins

Growing up, I was obsessed with nature and its beauty. Every Saturday, my parents would take my siblings and me to the park. I loved the park. I felt a bit more excited to go every week. A Lot of times I would find myself not interested in the things that an average kid would enjoy like the play set, swings, and slides. Life had my attention at an early age. I was intrigued by the flowers, trees, birds, and animals. One Saturday, my parents told me that we could no longer go to the park because the city wanted to build an apartment complex. Growing up in a necessitous family, the park was one of the only things I looked forward too. As the months went by it looked as if that special place that I'd visited every Saturday was never there.
