When I was a kid, I used to go to the creek to see the "glass eels" hatching in the little pool by the sluice that fed the cranberry bog from Mill Creek across the road. The water ran through the sluice out to the cranberry bogs, and eventually out to the ocean (Lewis Bay) Now the creek is dry.
