Personal memory by Destiny C.

The morning I was moving away to go to college, I was feeling down, so I walked to the lake in my neighborhood. I'd been there before. Lakes offer a still peace for you to just sit and feel. Anyway, while I was there, a butterfly landed on one of the greenest leaves I'd ever seen. It was orange and black, and it pushed me to cry, which was exactly what I needed. It helped me realize that if I feel like I have no one to turn to in a particular moment, I still have nature and it's natural beauty to turn to. Don't forget that, because that's not just for me. :)
