Personal memory by Garrett Clark

I remember back in high school, I was in Ecology Club and my classmates and I spent a whole day annually cleaning up The Clinton River which became pollute over time due to thunderstorms tearing down trees and littering. We spent about two to three hours removing uprooted trees in the canal as the forest surrounding it. It' s been a while since I participated again in the annual event since I moved off to college; however, this at experience has made me "thoughtful" on the importance of our environment and better ways to conserve it.
