Personal memory by Zola Ndimande
1983 CE • South Africa, Kwazulu, Pietermaritzburg
I remember we used to find so many chameleons where we grew up in Kwazulu Natal, Pietermaritzburg. We used to find them nearly on every branch...and as I grew older it was more and more a rare sight to find one....the last I saw there was on a peach tree in our yard..we were so exited just to see one! I've seen a few after that, in Joburg and in cape town...but its pretty rare to see one these days just hanging around on a tree.
