Personal memory by India Mcafee

Growing up I lived in the same hometown as my father grew up in. He would always tell me stories about the area having more woodlands and wildlife during the time he was growing up. And even in the span of time between hearing those stories as a child and now, I have noticed that a vast majority of the land and forests that were untouched have been processed. Part of the state park I explored as a child is now a housing development. This has also unfortunately increased the deaths of wildlife I've noticed. There are deer and bears in the parking lots of the grocery store for example.
