When I was younger, at about eight years old I would play in my grandmother's garden and I would like to chase the monarch butterflies but as I got older and the years passed by the monarch butterflies appearance started to decrease. My family would say it was because of the change in climate but now as I am older I recently did some research and found out that the use of herbicides ruins their natural habitat and the chemicals led to a ruination of milkweed plants, which is the only plant that the monarch butterflies feed on.
