Personal memory by Eileen Pardini

When I was a child growing up, I played outdoors a lot. I remember there being butterflies everywhere in the summer. There were so many, that we would try and catch them with our butterfly nets. There were big ones and small ones of all colors and stripes. They were magical. I rarely see them now. In fact, when I do see one, I always do a double take and wonder aloud, "Where have all the butterflies gone?"
