LAND – ANIMALS
1. Make sure all fences blocking migration are built at least 18inches above ground.
2. Support migratory pathways through urban developments and across roads, highways, railroads and other infrastructure.
AIR – BIRDS
1. Create a bird-friendly habitat in your back yard for migratory birds
2. When using wind power, ensure that wind turbines are bird-friendly
3. Install decals or glass that is fritted to allow birds
SEA – FISH
1. Protect spawning runs for fish and allow rivers to run to the sea.
2. Install fish wheels for spawning salmon on every dam that extirpates fish runs.
