Personal memory by Matthew Ford

Last summer I spent time picking up trash from the streets and got a full bag before I walked for a good 10 minutes. I lived in the suburbs so that is typically a place you would not suspect a dirty environment. Even if an area doesn't appear to be cluttered with trash there is always something that doesn't belong. This speaks volumes about the conditions of many cities. It's crazy how much remains people dispose on the side of the road instead of in a trash bin.
