Personal memory by Andrew Jaya

I walked to the grocery store every week and as I did I'd see a corner of grass and tall trees, at least 3 or 4 stories. One day I walked by and the trees were gone. A patch of nature which made the neighborhood look and feel more at home. As I had found out, they were destroyed due to townhouses coming. As I walk by every week, I feel a sense of despair for my trees and the space that once was theirs.
