My childhood growing up wasn't ideal. I often ran to a park down the street from my house. There was a bridge at the park and if you walked underneath, there were was a long creek that stretched for miles. This was my "happy place". I used to walk for hours and enjoy the trees, the fish, and the water. The park was remodeled a few years ago. A dam was put in place to stop the water flow , the trees were cut down, and all of the dirt and vegetation was replaced with concrete.
