In childhood, I remember my mother bringing my sister and me to this property on the far north side of the city. The condo was right on the water, and my sister and I would spend hours at the beach. We'd swim and collect rocks that looked like dragon eggs. The beach isn't there anymore, it's been swallowed up by the lake. We're unsure whether the property will be livable by the end of the next decade, or if it'll get swallowed too.
