In 2013 I spent a month in different villages in the Andhra Pradesh region of India. There the streets, gutters, and backsides of houses get filled more and more each day with trash. Plastic bottles and bags with no hope of going anyway anytime soon have become a part of their everyday lives with no system in place to properly take care of it.
