Personal memory by Elaine Detro

There's a river that runs through my small town. It used to be the place where everyone played. As the years went on the stream became dirtier, the water more browned it started to smell. Now a lot of the wildlife that lived has died off. You can't swim there anymore. There's a place where they are draining something into the river, and there's always pollution. It seems like no one cares.
