Personal memory by Joseph Tagliareni
2014 • Secaucus, NJ, USA
I have fond memories of bike riding through the Secaucus Mill Creek Marsh with my mom. We took a day during the summer 2014 to visit the newly renovated marsh lands. This site runs along the 1-95 in Secaucus, NJ. It's a hidden gem with a view of the New York skyline. While the trail is short, 1.5 miles, it is a sight to see. It is said that you can see over 280 bird species! While biking and walking through the marsh I did see egrets, monarch butterflies, sunflowers and even a muskrat. It's a great place to bird watch so make sure to bring your binoculars and a camera. You never know what you're going to see.
