When I was a kid we had recreation centers that we could go to after school. It was here that we truly learned about community & crafts, & nature. This was the highlight to a lot of kids days, including mine. field trips to nature parks, petting zoos, etc. I believe that this is truly what's missing. Especially in urban communities.
