Personal memory by Shalynn Moser

When I was a kid I remember seeing Praying Mantis's (Mantis religiosa) all the time in the late summer. It was until a friend of mine was doing a project for school in which she needed to collect various species of insects, that it had not dawned on me that I rarely see these insects any more and the sightings are far and few in between. These insects will probably be gone before my grandchildren ever get to see them.
