Personal memory by Travis Campbell

I remember my father telling me about why he stopped going out shrimping on our local river. It involved the contamination of the river due to irresponsible fertilizer dumping. This led to fish dying off and the river smelling bad. My father was shrimping one night and noticed the increase in dead fish floating by him. He figured if the fish weren't surviving it, the shrimp might not be as good for us to eat. So he packed up his shrimping cart and headed home, hanging up his shrimping boots.
