Personal memory by Shanelle

I had this hideout my friends and I would share. When i was a kid we would go to this small forest close to where i lived. It had its own pathways and such. One of the pathways had this beautiful old tree. The sun hit it just right in a mystical way. Though a year later my friends have moved. I had no reason to go back. One day I did go back though it was surprising chopped in half. They have torn down all the trees. It was nothing but sand. No trees in sight. They tore down half of the forest my friends and I played in, to construct apartment buildings.
