Found on mainland Australian, Diprotodon was the largest known marsupial in existence, standing at 7 feet tall and 10 feet from nose to tail. It resembled a hornless rhinoceros and became extinct around 45,000 years ago. The majority of fossils indicate drought as the cause of extinction.
