Personal memory by Emily Bissen
2004 • Lake Stevens, WA, USA
My very best and brightest childhood memories revolve around playing cops and robbers in the dense woods outside my home in Lake Stevens, WA. These woods have since been developed into suburban homes, and only live now in my memory. The concrete and cookie-cutter style homes cover the juicy black berry bushes, snake grass, and magnificent, lush trees that housed the forts my sister and I built. I'm glad to share this memory, as the landscape will never be the same.
