Personal memory by Theresa Conte

I went back to my childhood home during the holiday's and nothing looked how I remembered. My house used to be surrounded by beautiful evergreen trees and all the roads had canopies that would make driving them a magical experience. All those trees that held so many memories are no longer. They had to cut them all due to "safety" but mostly just to build new large and ugly electrical lines. Christmas didn't feel the same without those trees and it didn't feel like home anymore.
