Personal memory by Amanda Krasinski

My memory is about the time that my family and I have experienced in the West. Growing up, my family always took trips surrounded by nature, like spending time in the Adirondacks every summer, and experiencing the joy of being in the woods. As we got older, every year my family went out to the west to places like Arizona, Utah, Nevada, and Colorado, and to this day, I have never felt a feeling like I did throughout the duration of each of those trips. Seeing the massive landscapes made me get lost in my thoughts and love for nature. I was amazed by the efforts made by the people that lived in each one of these states to keep the national parks and other surrounding areas beautiful. I hope to be able to bring my family to these national parks in the future because of the conservation of these beautiful landscapes.
