Deforestation

I was headed to the airport and on my way there I saw a large section of trees that had been cut down. There were many trees in this section of land, but there also was a very large portion of trees noticeably missing from it. As I saw it I thought about the animals that may have lived there and that a part of their home had been taken away. Many animals lose their homes to deforestation. I hope that one day foresting will be properly managed so that animals can stay in their natural habitat and not become vulnerable to extinction.
