There used to be a beautiful crystalline river in front of my house and in the summer my cousins and I would go swim there. But then a construction company came into the town and one day while walking to school I noticed that the river's water was becoming gray and there was trash floating. Years later the river dried up and now every time you pass near it smells really bad.
